Hard wax vs. Soft wax. Both soft and hard wax are great methods of removing unwanted body hair. Here is why I use hard wax in 95% of my waxing services that I provide. When Hard wax is applied it only adheres to the hair without sticking to the skin. When the wax is removed only the hair is being removed. With soft wax it adheres to the skin as well as the hair, when the strip is removed the hair is removed along with the outer most top layer of your skin. This is what usually causes irritation during this method of waxing. Since hard wax only adheres to the hair this can cause less irritation during waxing and can be less painful.
